It’s been a whirlwind year here at Loomo! As the summer winds down, we thought we’d share with you some of the amazing projects we’ve had the opportunity to work on so far in 2016.

Making a splash

The project: We created a series of short videos for Facebook and YouTube to showcase some of the amazing local businesses in Downtown Langley. To make it even more fun, each week we gave people the chance to win $100 Downtown Dollars, which they could spend at any of the featured businesses.
The results: Over 1.5 million impressions, 568,000 video views (and counting), dozens of contest winners, and HUNDREDS of brand new email subscribers. We’d say this campaign has been a hit, for sure. Watch one of the videos here!

The client: BD Diesel
The project: Joining our good friend, and amazing videographer, Jef Gibbons, we worked to make video a big part of BD Diesel’s ongoing marketing and awareness campaigns. Throughout 2016 we produced a range of promotional and instructional videos that highlighted a number of BD’s newest and most popular performance diesel engine products.
The results: Thousands of web hits, hundreds of products sold, and a huge bump in awareness across North America. Who could ask for more? View the main commercial here!

 

Drawing a crowd

The client: City of Langley
The project: We developed and implemented a marketing strategy to attract visitors to the new Timms Community Centre in Langley. That included a campaign website, weekly e-blasts, blog posts, Facebook ads, media releases, and giveaways. The grand opening was a huge success with over 20,000 people attending both the initial grand opening day and the following community day in April.
The results: 400,000 hits on the campaign website, 1,000+ new members, 10,000 people through the centre in the first week!

 

Being one with the Twitterverse

The clients: Coast Osoyoos Hotel, Holiday Inn Express Langley, BC Chicken Marketing Board
The project: As far as jobs go, it doesn’t get much more fun than this—creating daily social media posts for some amazing local businesses. If you’re not opposed to drooling on yourself, check out the mouth-watering BC Chicken Squad Pinterest board.
The results:

  • BC Chicken: 5,062 impressions/month, engagement rates up 600%!
  • Coast Hotel Osoyoos: 5,057 impressions/month, engagement rates up 1200%!!!
  • Holiday Inn Express: 9,505 impressions/month, engagement rates up 800%!
