Hi, Giovanna. Please tell us about your company and your role.  

Through our innovative software and data solutions, Geomatics Data Management (GDM) provides the most complete energy infrastructure data (current and historical) available across Canada. Developed in collaboration with both customers and industry, our goal is to make the complex world of asset integrity management manageable for energy producers and the companies that provide them with needed services. 

My role as the Growth Director is to strategize ways to grow GDM’s marketing brand presence, drive revenue, and expand the customer base. Because we are a small company, it is my responsibility to develop the growth strategy and execute the plan on a tactical level. 

What challenges were you experiencing before working with Loomo? 

Before partnering with Loomo, GDM was in the process of making a major strategic shift including new sales models, positioning, and branding. With limited marketing resources in-house, GDM needed a strong external team to bring their new vision to life. I like how, as GDM grows, what Loomo has put in place is easy to scale.
