Partnership Opportunity

We have a vision for building an agency that believes equally in the power of creativity and technical perfection. That big ideas without effective capture and measurement simply become “random acts of marketing.” That the moment of inspiration is lost without a system to translate it into action. We’re looking for dreamers and technicians who feel the same way and want to do far more together than they could have on their own.

Who are you? You have spent years earning the trust of clients who could have gone anywhere but stayed because they believe in your work and results. Maybe you started your own agency with a vision for how to do the work better. Maybe you built your name leading marketing or web work for another brand. Whichever path brought you here, you’ve landed on the strength of your own judgment and results your clients can point to; we recognize and want to celebrate the work that went into it.

We don’t think you should start over. We want to help you build something even bigger.

At Loomo, we believe that growth happens through partnership and collaboration. We are looking for potential partners to lead core areas of our agency, whether that’s marketing, web design and development, or a specialist practice. We want that special someone who dreams big and is looking for more weight to make their dreams a reality.

About Loomo

Loomo Marketing is a full-service branding and marketing agency founded by Luke Taylor and Jeremy Whittingstall. We have offices in Vancouver, Victoria, and Toronto, and clients from Los Angeles to Miami, up to PEI, and back to Victoria. What sets us apart is how we bridge creative and technical work, bringing branding, web, and marketing systems together so they work as a single unit. Our clients include mid-market and enterprise brands in financial services, technology, managed services and IT, and construction. Our working motto is test, measure, prove: recommendations backed by data, and results reported honestly.

Three ways this could work

We have deliberately left the shape of this role open, because the right person may fit one of the paths below, or a mix of them. Tell us which one sounds like you.

Marketing Director

You are a marketer who lives and breathes the full stack: positioning and messaging, paid search and social, SEO, content, email and CRM, landing pages, and the tracking and analytics that tie them together. You have run enough campaigns to spot what is wrong with one from a mile away, whether it is the offer, the audience, the creative, or a broken conversion path, and can see what will make the next one work before the budget is spent. In this role, that judgment sets the standard for strategy and delivery across every account. You direct the marketing team, review the work that matters most, and stay hands-on where your experience makes the biggest difference. This path suits someone who enjoys building a team and a practice as much as doing the work.

Web design and development lead

You know the nuances that separate a site that looks good from one that performs: clean PHP, page schema and structured data, technical SEO, answer engine optimization (AEO) so content surfaces in AI search, and the page load waterfall that decides whether a visitor stays. You set the standard for design quality and build, scope and price web projects, review the work before it ships, and coach the team to catch issues before a client ever sees them. If you can lead a team as well as you can build a website, this is a good role for you.

Specialist practice lead

You build and lead a practice inside Loomo around your area of expertise, such as paid media, SEO, content, or marketing operations. You keep your specialist focus, grow the practice with your own clients and ours, and draw on the wider Loomo team for everything outside it. This path suits someone who wants to go deeper, not broader.

Whichever path, you own growth

Every partner at Loomo is responsible for supporting the overall agency and growing their area of the business, not just delivering it. Growth with Loomo has two parts, and both sit with you.

  • Sales enablement: shaping how we package, price, and pitch the services in your area, joining new-business conversations as the subject expert, and giving the team the proposals, case studies, and talking points they need to sell your area well.
  • Client account growth: knowing where each client in your area could get more value from Loomo, and turning that into expanded scope and longer relationships.

What you would bring

These are the things we will be looking for in a first conversation.

  • A track record of leading client work in marketing, web, or a specialist discipline, with results you can show and explain.
  • A record of growing revenue through new clients, expanded scope with existing ones, or both.
  • Great hands-on skill in at least one discipline, such as marketing strategy, paid media, SEO, analytics, content, or web design and development.
  • Experience owning client relationships at a senior level, including difficult conversations about performance and scope.
  • An owner’s mindset: comfort with pricing, profitability, and the commercial side of agency work.
  • A base in BC, within reach of our Vancouver or Victoria office.

Your book of business

If you happen to run your own agency or consultancy today, bringing your clients with you is welcome and will shape how we structure the partnership. It is not a requirement. We will manage and deliver for transferred clients with the full Loomo team behind them, and you remain in the lead. We will work through each client relationship with you carefully, because continuity for your clients matters as much to us as it does to you.

What Loomo brings

  • A full-service team, so you can say yes to branding, web, marketing, and design work you would otherwise refer out.
  • Documented delivery systems, project management, and AI-assisted audit and reporting tools, so client work runs on process rather than memory.
  • Three offices and an established client roster to grow into.
  • Operations, finance, and administration handled, so your time goes to clients and strategy.
  • Partners who have built an agency and want to build the next stage of it with you.

Partnership & compensation

We believe the people who build Loomo should share in what they create, so your compensation is designed to grow with your results.

  • Sales commission on the new business you win for Loomo.
  • Growth incentives tied to expanding the accounts in your area.
  • Leadership compensation that reflects the role and responsibility you step into.
  • Ownership through a revenue share on clients you win or bring over, plus equity in Loomo.

Commission and growth incentives are part of every partnership. The rest is shaped around what you bring and the path you take.

Who this is not for

This opportunity is built for someone who wants to keep working and growing the company, not someone looking to simply sell their business and step away. It is also built for someone who enjoys the agency challenge: if you would rather focus on delivery and leave new business to others, this is not the right fit. The downside? It may also mean giving up some independence: shared decisions, shared standards, and a shared brand. If running everything your own way is the reason you started your agency, that trade-off deserves careful thought before we talk.

Starting the conversation

The first conversation is informal and confidential. We will not contact your clients or share your interest with anyone without your permission.

Send a short note to Jeremy Whittingstall, CEO and Managing Partner, at jeremy@loomo.ca. Tell us a little about your background, your specialty, and, if you run your own firm, the size and makeup of your team and client base. We will set up a time to talk.
