Some people do their best work when a plan comes together: the client call where the numbers finally make sense, or the moment a coordinator you coached presents their first report and owns the room. You notice what others miss, and you would rather tell a client the truth than what they want to hear. If that sounds like you, we would like to meet you. Loomo is hiring a Marketing Manager to lead a portfolio of client accounts and the small team that delivers them.
About Loomo
Loomo Marketing is a full-service branding and marketing agency founded by Luke Taylor and Jeremy Whittingstall. We have offices in Vancouver, Victoria, and Toronto, and clients from Los Angeles to Miami, up to PEI, and back to Victoria again. What sets us apart is how we bridge creative and technical work, bringing branding, web, and marketing systems together so they work as a single unit. Our clients include mid-market and enterprise brands in financial services, technology, managed services and IT, and construction. Our working motto is test, measure, prove: recommendations backed by data, and results reported honestly.
About the role
You will report to our CEO and Managing Partner and lead a team of two to three coordinators across a portfolio of five to eight client accounts. Twelve months in, success looks like this: a portfolio of clients who treat you as their trusted day-to-day contact, marketing plans that are running on schedule and on budget, monthly reports that explain what happened and what we are changing next, and coordinators who have grown because you directed and reviewed their work well.
What you will do
- Own the day-to-day relationship for a portfolio of client accounts, including regular check-ins, quarterly business reviews, and clear expectations on scope and timelines.
- Lead onboarding for new clients, from kickoff through their first marketing plan, and manage scope so every client knows what is included and what is not.
- Build and maintain each client’s marketing plan, campaigns, and budget against agreed KPIs, across search, paid social, SEO, email, and landing pages.
- Scope, assign, and quality-check work from coordinators, designers, and specialists in Asana, keeping projects on time and on budget.
- Own monthly reporting across GA4, Google Ads, and SEO: interpret the results, explain them in plain language, and recommend what to change.
- Keep clients for the long term: watch for accounts at risk, and bring growth opportunities you spot to leadership.
- Coach and develop the coordinators who report to you.
What is hard about this job
Agency work means several clients, several deadlines, and priorities that can shift mid-week. You will be the person who reports on when a campaign won, when it failed, and what we are doing about it. You’ll be the one who has to build the strategy, support implementation, and tell a coordinator their work needs another pass. If you prefer to focus on a single brand, or would rather not be accountable for performance numbers, this role will not be a good fit.
What we are looking for

- At least 2 years at an agency managing multiple client accounts at the same time.

- Working knowledge of on-page, technical, and local SEO.

- Experience using AI tools, such as Claude, in marketing workflows.
